And it’s all very lovely, but look at the yard.
Look at it! It’s across the back alley and is fully enclosed with double locking gates, and if any building was crying out to be renovated into a garage workshop, it’s that one.
The house also comes with a brilliant cellar :) I've never had a cellar before.
I’m putting an offer in STS tomorrow, needless to say.

That barn is awesome! I am the jealous.

Is there a vehicle-passable route to that back building? If so, I’d say you’re dead right.

Yep, the ‘back alley’ is a service road to the car park of the Women's Institute, so full access with a turning circle in the car park. I'd struggle to reverse a trailer in there, but even large vehicles would get in fairly easily.

Nice man, will you be moving out of the barn space if you get this?

be careful, theres a lot of potential there.

Perfect. Looks like a bicycle workshop in an Agatha Christie from outside. Is this right in Wylam or a little bit outside in the country?
Needless to say, I did marvel a bit at how much you were managing to get done without your own proper place. This looks like a fix to that.

This is even more lovely!

What. The hell. Is this?!

Looks like a good place to get murdered in a horror movie.

How hard could it be to knock out a few walls?

That’s a strange way of spelling “tetanus.”

Glad you found something. We’ve been apartment shopping for more than a year. Everything except one (that we were too late on) has a problem, and when you finally find something, the coop board gives you a full body cavity search before they approve you.

Nope, I need that space for all my work gear, but the project cars would move into the shack.

potential = $$$$$$$$

Yard problem solved.

The lady is an artist and it's absolutely full of awesome artwork. That bust was obviously relegated to the cellar. There’s a Vivienne Westwood rug framed and hanging in the entrance way, sadly not included in the sale.

NOICE!
The GF and I are currently prospecting properties with 10-20+ acres for purposes of expanding the sheep flock to “pays her salary” size, as opposed to “pays for itself” size.

An impressionist sculpture of a jazz musician with art nouveau influences?

More space is always good. I’m sure it’ll soon clutter up with more cars :D

That looks quite awesome, and you do gardens right? So the mess gives you a nice blank canvas. You’ve even got two options for a man-cave, the top floor of the shed and the cellar!
![]() 05/17/2016 at 16:17 |

Awesome! The mancave/ full scale workshop possibilities are pretty huge there definitely.

It looks like a guy playing jazz trumpet.

Did I completely overlook the explanation...
...or is there a dead body under that turquoise tarp?

Like a 504 pickup??

Right in Wylam, one of the oldest properties on the main street. I’d be moving about 300 metres away from where I am now.

It needs a lot of love, but that could be freaking amazing.

I didn't check. But there was no smell so it may be particularly dessicated by now.

embalming fluid and wax should do the trick

Why not both eh? The missus has not let me have my amp and speakers setup in the current lounge for fear of waking the neighbours, so at least half of the cellar will be dedicated to that, with the other half most likely being utility.
![]() 05/17/2016 at 16:45 |

We had no access to the outbuilding, but either way being half brick built there’s only so much that can be wrong with it. Foundations look solid on outside inspection.

Amp as in guitar amp? Cool, what kind of guitar do you have? I’ve got a cheapo Cort stratocaster knock-off.
![]() 05/17/2016 at 16:58 |

It’s a Denon audio amp I’m afraid, I’m no musician!

Oops, jumped to conclusions a bit fast there. Haha.

Nothing renting a bobcat for the afternoon can’t fix. Here in the bay area I would kill for space to do any kind of projects.

I'm going to litter it with Land Rovers
![]() 05/17/2016 at 17:53 |

Precisely.
![]() 05/17/2016 at 19:46 |

Yep, it’s definitely fixable.

Just fill mess with cars, thatll fix everything.
